SPORTS DAY OF THE DEAD

“where muscle tears are intentional”

When: Monday 31st August

Where: Meat in Leicester Square at 10.00am for a CARNE-val Bank Holiday Monday

Come and compEAT for a medal at the Zombie OLIMPics 2009.

The opening ceremony will see the living dead warming up for the main events of the day.

Take turns carrying and chomping the Olympic brain as we shamble through the streets of London towards the finishing off line where reanimated corpses will be “ready steady gore.”

Featured Track and congealed events on the day include:

100 metre shambles (Set the pace and leave em left for dead!)

Rot foot (shot putt using a severed foot. See how far you can throw your leftovers)

Deathacathlon

Body bag race

Brain and spoon race

People chase ( Get your food’s hearts racing)

Relay of the dead (use severed limbs as batons)

Hop, skip, triple stump

And for the freshly turned we have Grimnastics

See Sally Guzzle, Limpford Christie, Dayley of the dead Thompson, and Fatima Whitdead

Regarding fitness levels, remember the slower the brain the better. We’re sure you’ll be risen to the challenge.

To take part simply turn up on the day

There will be a free zombie picnic – vegetarians catered with. Although taking into account the insatiable appetite of the living dead - Doomed to Consume - extra entrails will be gratefully guzzled.

This is a charity event. All donations received on the day will go to the British Heart Foundation. Information will also be available throughout the day on how to give blood, and on donar cards.
