Then it could be gory and not have to be shortened.  I read WWZ and thought that each chapter would make a great episode of a show.

Paramount Pictures acquired screen rights to the Max Brooks novel “World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War.” Brad Pitt’s Plan B will produce Brooks’ follow-up to satire “The Zombie Survial Guide””.

I couldn’t wait for the film version of World War Z so I picked-up a copy of the radio/audio book version. A good adaptation with a lot of quality actors performing voices. Missing a few of my favourite parts of the book but worth listening too.

Visually I don’t think the film can match my expectations. The book was too good. Perhaps if Peter Jackson was doing it the film would stand a chance.
