Hey

Have to say if you haven’t read these books…. DO SO…..

They are far beyond any other Zombie book I have read…. (apart from the Walking Dead Comic Series by Robert Kirkman) the detail is amazing, and apparently they are making World War Z into a film (or so the local comic store geek tells me).... anybody else heard any news on this?

LOVING THIS SITE!!

Ohh - yeh I’ve got the Zombie survival guide - I’d recommend this book too - it’s great!

Not heard anything about a film yet…

Glad to hear you’re loving the site. We’re gonna be relaunching soon(ish) with a new look and some new features. Gonna be looking for bloggers actually…

Hi,

Thought you might be interested in this - did a bit of research…

“In a high-six-figure deal, Paramount Pictures acquired screen rights to the Max Brooks novel “World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War.” Brad Pitt’s Plan B will produce Brooks’ follow-up to satire “The Zombie Survial Guide”“.

Quoted from http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117945332.html?categoryid=13&cs;=1

It is apparently due out sometime in 2008 - This is major news - if the film stays accurate to the book, this could be the best zombie film ever.

Much excitement!

OMG Thoes books are amazing.

The ZSG is my bible! no word of a lie, i carry it with me in my Umberla corp bag, and read it every day.

im obsessed with it, i even plan my escape just incase a zombie outbreak happens when i’m out. checking out weapons of oppatunity, exits, and hide-outs.

tell me if anyone else does this?

Consider me interested, if this is still the case!

And yes, these books are amazing! I read World War Z earlier this year and it blew my mind. I was raving about it so much I’ve had to lend it out to someone, and I already miss it and want it back red face

Both great books.  I almost wish that WWZ would be made into a Cable TV series.  Then it could be gory and not have to be shortened.  I read WWZ and thought that each chapter would make a great episode of a show.

Still looking for bloggers….? I may be interested providing I have time.  Lord knows I’ve read tones of zombie fiction.

Yup, interesting news articles or items of interest relating to zombie events - all very welcome.

Pretty simple really, write an article, email it to me along with an accompanying image, and I will check it over and then publish it on the site, with you as the author.

indeed these books are in my top 5 however me and another fellow of the undead are concerned that they wont capture the true amazment that the books bring….How the stories are told how the charactures are portraid
I would like to see em as movies but sometimes i feel some books are left for the imagination of the readers..“I am legend!” but we wont go into that :(

I LOVED The Zombie Survival Guide! I liked it so much I gave it to my friends as Halloween gifts. ( They think I’m crazy for some strange reason). I wasn’t really sold on WWZ. I liked Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry a bit more.

I am reading The Zen Of Zombie by Scott Kenemore. It is kind of a fun book to read.

Not only is the “Zombie Survival Guide” a great read but it’s most popular… just the other week at the camp I work at we got a new group of campers and at least 25% of them had the book with them. None the less the whole camp staff was proud to have them there with us at camp. cool smile

Ah, nice. I have read and own both of these books. Excellent works I must say. Max Brooks is a wonderful author. I hope that if they do make a movie it is an amazing one.
