To celebrate the screening of THE ZOMBIE DIARIES at London's Film4 FrightFest on Bank Holiday August Monday 27th, Revolver organised a ZOMBIE WALK WORLD RECORD attempt (currently at 894 zombies for an event held last year at Pittsburgh's Monroeville Mall) immediately prior to the film's screening at 10.45am.
The Zombie Walk took place from 8.00am on Bank Holiday Monday 27th August just outside the Odeon West End. It had ‘zombie’ music, professional make-up artists from The Zombie Diaries and Shaun of the Dead and cabaret from the Grotesque Burlesque Zombies (provided by themonstercompany.co.uk).
Post mortem
We didn’t break the world record. 10am was perhaps a bit too early for the dead to rise.
