At ZombieCon we'll be parading around town- instilling horror and eating brains. More specifically, we’ll be walking on foot to various restaurants and bars. At each location we’ll have the opportunity to partake in non-brain foods and drink (many locations offer specials. We’ll also be spending our time at each location mingling with the humans, playing zombie games and participating in contests (including a costume contest, so go all out with your outfit!) for prizes! That’s right, you may go home with something other than another zombie!
This year’s ZombieCon will be taking place Friday, October 22, 2010 from 7:30pm til 1:30am in downtown Lexington. The event is free, but a donation of $5 to go to the Children’s Advocacy Center is suggested and will get you an awesome Zombie Survival Guide – For Zombies, detailing our route, food and drink specials and tips for surviving in the land of the living.
Contests this year will include a costume contest for best overall zombie costume, sexiest zombie, most original zombie and most disgusting / goriest zombie, as well as a best zombie joke contest. Prizes will be given to contest winners, as well as to the winners of various zombie games played throughout the night.
Details on the ZombieCon route and meeting location are still being finalized. Please keep an eye on our website for more details to be posted as they become available.
