Ever wanted to dress up like a zombie and wander around Downtown Houston groaning and lunging for people's throats? Now's your chance!
When is the 2008 Houston Zombie Walk?
The legion of undead will rise on Saturday, October 25th, 2008.
Where is the 2008 Houston Zombie Walk taking place?
The walk will be around the Montrose/Westheimer area of Downtown. Check back off for a more detailed description of the route along with a map.
Are there rules of the Zombie Walk?
We trust our fellow zombs have eaten tons of brains and therefore have common sense. But, there are a few important rules.
1. Respect other people’s property.
2. Stay off the road, and try to lurch on the sidewalk.
3. Respect other zombies, and the living’s personal space.
4. You are responsible for your own corpse.
5. All Children Of The Dead are to be accompanied by an Adult Zombie at all times.
6. Don’t approach or touch anyone that seems not to be okay with zombies. Avoid Confrontations.
7. No littering, destruction of property, or any other illegal activity.
8. If you get in trouble, arrested, and or shot in the head. Houston Zombie Walk and any sponsors are not responsible and you will be come another one for the fire.
9. Have fun!!

Calling all Zombies: Crypton Houston Convention will be at Reliant the weekend of October 16-18! This is the first hometown horror con we’ve had in 14 years, and we need to keep it coming back! I’ve been talking with the constaff, and they plan to have a Zombie Walk, a Zombie ball, and a costume contest, among other undead-friendly events! Can we get a lot of zombies to spread the word in their local areas? I’ll have a flyer for the event soon, and I will happily share it with anyone who’d like to print some and post them around their part of town. I had to work at the TX Renaissance Fest on the day you held the zombie crawl in 2008. I noticed that it was held in March the year before. Any way the crawl can be moved up to Sat. afternoon, March 28, 2009? Have blood will travel.
