Spooky Empire’s 7th annual Ultimate Horror Weekend is coming to Orlando Oct 9-11. Join The Deadite Empire for the opening ceremony for the convention. Zombie walk from 1-4 p.m. with celebrity guests from the Thriller video; director John Landis, actress Ola Ray and dancer Cheryl Sington join as Orlando’s The Rich Weirdos lead hundreds of zombies in the Thriller dance at TGI Fridays Front Row on International Drive. Other celebrity guests such as Bill Hinzman (Night of the Living Dead), Michael Christopher (Dawn of the Dead), and many more will be guest appearing in the zombie walk. Hearse and Creepy Car Show, FX makeup artists, zombie carnival games are just a few of the festivities at the zombie walk pre party! Don’t miss out on the sideshow performances performed by The Enigma of Electric Acid Theatre.com and Dynamite Death Monkiez that will make the strongest of men cringe! The zombie hunter group Z.E.D. will be crowd control for the walk and look out for the safety of the zombies, or will they?!

The zombie walk finally kicks off around 4 p.m. to end at the doors of the Wyndham Hotel for the three-day horror convention that brings in over 11,000 people! Tons of events throughout the weekend; celebrity Q&As, seminars, gaming, movies, tattooing, film festival, dealer room, zombie luau pool party, zombie wedding ceremony, live bands and performances, celebrity poker tournament, a shadow cast of REPO the Genetic Opera, and so much more!

Some of the guests to appear so far are The Masters of Horror – George Romero “Dawn of the Dead”, John Landis “American Werewolf in London”, and Herschell Gordon Lewis “2,000 Maniacs”, Adrienne Barbeau “The Fog”, Linda Blair “The Exorcist”, and Fairuza Balk from “The Craft”. From Alfred Hitchcock’s legendary film “The Birds” Tippi Hedren will be appearing, as well as Sid Haig and Bill Moseley of Rob Zombie’s “The Devil’s Rejects”. There will be a “Jason” Reunion with special guests Derek Mears, Kane Hodder and. C.J. Graham. Come and meet the daughter of the legendary movie monster Boris Karloff - Sara Karloff. This is just the beginning!
