Someone said to me last week ”It’s not exactly the time of year to launch a new version of CrawlOfTheDead.com”.
“You’re wrong! I cried!”, smugly. You see - there are plenty of zombie lovers worldwide and more than enough to ensure the Crawls Calendar has events over the coming months.
Let’s take a peek at what is coming up during March 2008.
• Ides of March - 15th Mar 11:00AM
Location: Worldwide
Not one of the easier events to organise, The Ides of March is it? Head over to Wikipedia if you want more background on what the Ideas of March actually means. We’ve had this event added to our Crawls Calendar by zombie member ’Anonymous‘. I was going to remove it but then the idea that the entire world dresses up as zombies for a day is rather an entertaining one. Live the dream.
• Birmingham Zombie Crawl - 15th Mar 4:00PM
Location: Birmingham City Center, UK
Oliver Twisted signed up to give us details on Birminghams zombie walk (that’s Birmingham in the UK for those U.S readers). Sounds like it’s gonna be fun though - the zombies are meeting in a central Birmingham location at dusk and heading on to a special zombie venue. This could get messy!
• Belleville Zombie Walk - 29th Mar 10:00AM
Location: Sydney St. to Belle Blvd, Belleville, ON, Canada
And one from our Canadian friends, the Belleville Zombie Walk over in Ontario is another event that is shaping up to be a good’un.
