Zombie Vs Shark

You might have seen it before, but this classic Zombie Vs Shark scene (apparently from the 1979 movie called Zombie), is quite great.
I mean - it’s ridiculous, and disappointingly, there is no definitive outcome as the video shows, but still: It’s a Zombie Vs a Shark and for that, it deserves credit.
Nothing about this scene makes much sense. I mean, the shark is clearly trying to ‘be a shark’ (swim around, look menacing) and couldn’t care less about the zombie hanging on to its fins. The zombie, well, what the hell is he playing at? Trying to eat a shark? Trying to eat sharks brains? Come on… I think next time, they need to use a fake shark with amazing animatronics that can have its fins ripped off and create one of those underwater ‘blood clouds’, perhaps even start a vicious shark feeding frenzy and maybe even produce zombie sharks.
Now that - that would kick arse.
Zombie sharks.
Now, just to settle the score with pirates, ninjas and anything else that’s awesome. OK - Chuck Norris.

Ah, the reason the shark is more docile than normal is that it is confused. Sharks can detect the electric field that surrounds living things via an organ in their snout could the ampullae of Lorenzini. As the zombie is clearly dead, the shark would be unable to detect any electric field from its attacker. In the absence of one of its senses, it opts for alternative methods to work out what the zombie is.
And it’s a tiger shark which are second in voracity only to Great Whites. And it looks more real than Jaws.
Who says that degree in oceanography was a waste of time.........

They fed the shark a load of horse meat and tranquilizers. I heard the guy due to play the zombie pulled a sicky on the morning of the shoot and someone had to stand in.

It’s from Zombie Flesh Eaters (as named in the UK) and it’s classic and beautiful and amazing in my opinion! :D No sense to it at all, but I love it!
That film is so weird because it’s often overlooked, but it’s so very scary in some parts. And not just the bad dubbing. PLUS the fx are ace in that the zombs actually look *rotting*, AND the shot of the zombies on Manhattan Bridge at the end has never, ever left me. Fantastic.
