Zombie Strippers

Any movie with the tag line “They’ll dance for a fee, but devour you for free”, is off to a good start. Throw in some zombie rotters and some stripper, er, ‘hotters’ (sorry, that was so lame - the tag line threw me). Anyway yes, you’ve got a movie with potential to do great things.

Zombie Strippers stars porno legend Jenna Jameson and horror freak Robert Englund (a.k.a Freddy Krueger) in a low budget film about, well - Zombie Strippers. Usual story, you know - there’s a secret government project that releases a virus, some strippers get infected and they then have to stop to think about whether being a zombie stripper is going to earn them more cash than being just a regular stripper.

Zombie Strippers has ‘limited theatrical engagement’, which presumably means it’s narrowly avoided a straight-to-video release and has secured a handful of kind cinemas willing to show the movie. Well, good on them. Although that’s State-side, over here in Europe we’re less likely to see it in the cinemas at all.
It’s clear that this movie isn’t going to win prizes at the Cannes Film Festival, but hey - it could be worth a few laughs with some beers on a friday night.
