I see lots of awesome things on the internet all the time - hey, that's what the internet is there for, right? Finding awesome things.
This latest find is just plain beautiful.
It comes from Jason Chan, a concept artist and illustrator based in San Francisco, California; and it is his latest entry in to the Thunderdome: Last Man Standing contest on ConceptArt.org.
Following the theme 'outbreak', it does a wonderful job at depicting both playground nostalgia and undead hoards ascending the colourful climbing frames to find their next meal. I love it!
Check out more of Jason Chan's fantastic artwork over on his blog, jasonchanart.blogspot.com.

The scratches down the side of the slide is an inspired detail. This is now my desktop wallpaper at work.
