Simon Pegg talks about why zombies should never run…

Simon Pegg is of course the kind of person you’d want to ‘be best mates with’ (no, seriously - everyone says that).
He’s also an all round awesome kind-of-guy, because he, along with Jessica Stephenson and Edgar Wright, created Spaced - the best cult British sitcom ever.

Any fan of Simon Peggs will know he’s a lover of science fiction (including zombie films) and he often crops up online, talking about them - and he’s at it again. Pegg recently wrote a very interesting article about why zombies should never run.

In recent years, a wave of films and video games have altered zombies in to, as Pegg puts it, ‘zombies 2.0’ - running around, their faces screaming with rage for blood. Scary. Yes.
But zombies as we know and love them? No. Pegg discusses this topic very well and makes some extremely good points.

Definitely worth a read, zombie fans.

Wow, I’ve loved all of Simon’s movies. And now with this excellent essay, he proves himself erudite and insightful. Zombies need to stay slow.

Brains!
