CrawlOfTheDead.com launches new site!

Since CrawlOfTheDead.com launched in October 2007, it’s grown to house a small community of zombies. But the site wasn’t quite right and with this first redesign, some key problems have been fixed, plus some all important new features added. Here’s a rundown of the new bits…
- New look Ok, this is the obvious part… The new look! All parts of the site have been given a gory, blood-lusting makeover.
- Rot or Not This is a brand new ratings feature, available for members who’ve uploaded their zombie photo to their profile. It’s a 5-star rating system for members, allowing them to rate each other. The best zombies will naturally be awarded the highest scores!
- Crawls This section has had a work over and now includes more tools to get your Crawl highlighted. Users who’ve added a Crawl to the Crawls calendar can now use HTML to post images or other media such as YouTube videos. Attendees of Crawls will now be notified via email when a comment is posted on an event (you can turn this off in your account settings though).
- Comment wall notifications If someone posts a comment on your profile page, you will now be notified via email (you can turn this off in your account settings also). Across News, Crawls and Zombie profile pages, users can also now post basic HTML, enabling them to post images and other media on to discussion topics.
- Search Zombies You can now search for other zombies!
