All set for DEAD SET

Recent months have seen the zombie community here in the UK get all hot and bothered over a new TV series coming to Channel 4. It's the latest series from writer Charlie Brooker (fans of Brass Eye, The Eleven o'Clock Show and Nathan Barley will know him, not to mention a fair few other shows he's been involved with).

Well, the series has finished shooting all it's zombies (boo-boom-tish!) and is heading to TV very soon. So soon in fact, that some of the nice people promoting the film have sent us the latest trailer, and it's definitely worth getting hot and bothered over...

Dead Set is a five-part zombie horror series that's set in the UK's Big Brother house - so expect cameo appearances from presenter Davina McCall (as you've never seen her before) plus various ex-housemates. And it could be quite entertaining seeing some of them as the undead...

The background story goes something like this:

The drama is set in a Britain where the dead are returning to life and attacking the living. The people they kill get up and kill – and it’s spreading like wildfire. Curiously, there are a few people left in Britain who aren’t worried about any of this – that’s because they’re the remaining contestants in Big Brother. Cocooned in the safety of the Big Brother house, they’re blissfully unaware of the horrific events unfolding outside. Until an eviction night when all hell breaks loose...
